Refund Policy

If there is any kind of a problem with your order, we would really rather you contact us so we can both figure out a way to fix the problem instead of bashing us on social media.  We want you back as a customer and the best way to get you back is to take care of the problem as quickly as possible.  Besides, you will probably tell your friends how totally awesome we are and then they will come to our website and buy billions and billions of dollars’ worth of stuff from us.  And then we can build all those children’s orphanages all over the country. Now how cool would that be?

We do have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Just call us at 916-337-4898 or email to don@butdidyoulaugh.com to start the return process and let us know what happened.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.   Please, no spilled spaghetti sauce or coffee stains on the apparel.

After figuring out the best way to proceed with the problem we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package or provide a refund.

Return Shipping
The shipping cost to return an item will have to be paid by you.  However, upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will replace and ship the same item, same size, same color back to you at our cost or refund the cost of the original item you shipped back to us plus tax minus shipping.

Damages and issues
We value our customers and take pride in our products and service.   Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right for you.  When the item leaves our warehouse, it leaves in perfect condition (we aren’t going to send a damaged item or the wrong item on purpose), but on occasion things happen in transit that we will take care of for you and then fight with the carrier.  But at least you will be taken care of and not have to go through any hassles with the carrier is your item was smashed when delivered.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items).  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
